With Mother’s Day around the corner and the weather seeming to stay nice for more than a day at a time, spring fever is sweeping across the Madison area. And with the nice weather comes an abundance of incredible fun things to do around the city. Check out some of our top picks for Madison Events this May:

  • The Farmer’s Markets

The city of Madison has many different markets located all around and offered on different days of the week to meet your needs. However we highly recommend checking out the Dane County Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings around the Capitol Square.

  • Mindful Yoga at the Monona Terrace

In with the good, out with the bad. The Monona Terrace offers free yoga on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the month of May for anyone who is interested. Take a well deserved 45 minute break from your day to enjoy yourself and the views at the Monona Terrace.

  • Re-opening of Memorial Union Terrace

Head to the Memorial Union Terrace to celebrate the re-opening on May 20th. Just think: pitchers of beer, Lake Mendota, and the quintessential chairs of Madison are back for the summer.
