February is the best month because you get to eat chocolate for 28 days straight. Check out these chocolate events happing in Madison this month!

 

Truffles and Chocolate Tempering

Sunday, February 11th at delecTable; $49

Chocolate can be one of the most sensitive ingredients to work with, and sometimes you just want to be able to indulge in a homemade sweet treat. In this class, chef Punky Egan will teach you how to make a variety of truffle flavors so you can master the art of chocolate in your own home. And be on the lookout for other baking events at delecTable, as Punky has joined their full time team offerings lots of great classes in the future!

 

Valentine’s Chocolate and Mead Pairing

Wednesday, February 14th at Bos Meadery; $25

Chocolate, and mead, and everything sweet! What’s not to love? Head on out to Bos Meadery for a pairing with mead and Roots Chocolates that is sure to tantalize your tastebuds. The pairing will consist of 4 chocolates and 4 mead samples. If you’ve never had mead (an alcoholic, fermented honey drink) you’re in for a real SWEET treat!

 

Spread the Love – Chocolate, Cheese, and Wine Pairing

Monday, February 26th at Square Wine Company; $60

We are partnering with our fellow Madison food tour company, Madison Eats, to bring you an evening of chocolate, cheese, and wine! Join us as we meet owners of local food businesses and learn how to pair chocolate and cheese with wine by sommelier Andrea Hillsey. 10% of all tickets will go back to Second Harvest Food Bank, so we are really spreading the love throughout Madison.

 

Regardless of if you believe in Valentine’s Day, we hope that your entire month is full of love, happiness, and lots of really good chocolate.
